Rohit's Century Sets Nepal a Moderate Target for UAE

Oct 30, Kathmandu - Nepal has set a moderate target for the UAE in its second match of the ODI series under the ICC World Cricket League 2 after captain Rohit Poudel scored a century.

Batting first at the ICC Academy in Dubai, Nepal was all out for 233 runs in 50 overs, setting the UAE a target of 234 runs.

Rohit scored 109 runs in 130 balls. This is his second century in ODIs. Similarly, Aasif Sheikh scored 35, Arif Sheikh scored 27 and Dipendra Singh Airee scored 23 runs.

For the UAE, Zahid Ali took 4 wickets for 41 runs in 6 overs. Junaid Siddiqui took 3 wickets for 54 runs in 10 overs. Muhammad Rohid and Haider Ali took 1 wicket each.

Nepal has played the UAE 15 times in ODIs so far. Nepal has won 9 matches while UAE has won 6 matches.
