Mid-West University and Birla Global University of India Sign 5-year Agreement for Academic Partnership

Oct 31, Kathmandu - A bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Mid-West University and Birla Global University in Bhubaneswar, India, for academic and research collaboration.

The agreement was signed by Mid-West University Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Dhruv Kumar Gautam and Birla Global University Vice Chancellor Prof. Kul Bhusan Baloni at a program organized on Friday.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mid-West University Registrar Prof. Dr. Shobhakhar Kandel, Executive Director of the Directorate of International Relations Dr. Yadu Prasad Gyawali, and Birla Global University Dean Dr. Satyakama Misra.

The main objective of this agreement is to promote academic, cultural and research cooperation by enhancing mutual understanding between the two universities.

It aims to establish cooperative academic relations and implement various programs in the field of education and research by exchanging professors, staff and students for study and research.

The agreement paves the way for student and professor exchange programs, joint research and publications, seminars and conferences, study tours, short-term academic training, joint teaching programs as well as cultural programs.

The agreement is for a period of five years and is subject to automatic renewal thereafter.
