Oct 31, Kathmandu - MaxiMax Education and Visa Services Pvt. Ltd. has become the main sponsor of Everest United, a local cricket club based in Melbourne, Australia.

MaxiMax, the club's main sponsor, also unveiled the team's jersey at a program in Melbourne. MaxiMax CEO Shankar Dharel, club representative Rajan Maskey, Nepali Society Victoria Vice President Sudip Shrestha and others handed over the jersey with MaxiMax's logo to the team.

At the event, CEO Dharel said that the team was supported with the aim of raising the morale of local cricket fans. After the agreement, the team will participate in local competitions under the name of Maximax Everest Club.

While Everest United FC has been playing local football competitions, a cricket team has also been formed for the first time. The team is playing in the ongoing Richa Memorial Cricket Competition.
