Oct 31, Kathmandu - Resham Chaudhary, the patron of the Nagarik Unmukti Party of Nepal, has claimed that there will be no more elections in the country if he is not allowed to participate in the elections.
Speaking at a large-scale political dialogue organized by the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) on Friday, he asserted that there will be no more elections in the country if he, along with Laxman Tharu and Dhaniram Tharu, are not allowed to take part in the elections.
"If Resham Tharu, Laxman Tharu and Dhaniram Tharu are not allowed to participate in this election, I say from this platform that there will be no elections in this country again," Chaudhary said. "Will elections be held by setting aside the rebellion of the entire community? What was the history of the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML? What was the history of Sher Bahadur, Oli and Prachanda? What is the history of Gen-Z?" He also objected to Gen-Z leader Purushottam Yadav saying that he would not be allowed to take part in the election.
