Nov 01, Kathmandu- A bus returning from Kathmandu to Mahendranagar met with an accident in Krishnapur Municipality-2, Bani, Kanchanpur today.

According to the District Police Office, the deceased is Bal Bahadur Bohara, 42, of Banka. Bohara, who was seriously injured in the accident, died during treatment at Bani Hospital, Deputy Superintendent of Police Sagar Bohara said.

According to him, the other four people on the bus are safe. The bus driver, Ramesh Bohara, 46, of Daiji, Bedkot Municipality-3, has been taken into custody by the police. The bus accident took place on the East-West Highway.
