Nov 02, Kathmandu - Police arrested Sarita and six others last night while they were playing cards at Sarita Giri's house in Chandragiri Municipality-6, Mahadevsthan. Police deployed from Thankot Police Circle arrested them with Rs 172,050 in cash and 16 cards.

Police arrested Rohit and 12 others while they were playing cards at the grocery store of Rohit Nath, 30, of Matena, Bhimdatta Municipality-9, Kanchanpur on Sunday morning. Police deployed from the District Police Office, Kanchanpur arrested them with Rs 41,000 in cash and 2 books of cards.

Police arrested Dil Bahadur and 10 others while they were playing cards at the Satkar Hotel run by Dil Bahadur Magar, 38, of Schoolchaun Bazaar, Gauradaha Municipality-5, Jhapa on Saturday night. Police deployed from the Area Police Office, Damak arrested them with Rs 145,960 in cash and 9 books of cards.

Police arrested 7 people, including 48-year-old Om Gurung, a resident of Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality-1, last night while they were playing cards at a house in Kaski, Pokhara Metropolitan City-25. Police deployed from the District Police Office, Kaski, arrested them along with Rs 73,275 in cash and 4 books of cards.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
