Nov 02, Kathmandu - Guptill, who also played for Biratnagar in his first season, is set to renew his contract, a top Kings source said. Biratnagar Kings shared a post on Saturday, posting a photo saying he will come to complete the unfinished work.

Biratnagar has already signed South African batsman Faf du Plessis. Biratnagar has already announced in a press release that Plessis will play for the team.

It is said that Guptill's contract was renewed after Pelliss was unable to play a full match.

Biratnagar, which has Sandeep Lamichhane as its marquee player, retained Lokesh Bam, Subash Bhandari, Naren Bhatt, Wasir Ahmed and Pratish GC from the first season.

Narayan Joshi, Surya Tamang, Sahil Patel, Shankar Rana and Shravan Kisku were purchased by Biratnagar through a mini auction.
