Nov 02, Kathmandu - The CPN-UML has announced a 'Youth Volunteer Force'. The 'Youth Volunteer Force' was announced on Sunday under the initiative of Politburo member Mahesh Basnet.

The force was announced by the People's Organization Coordination Mechanism in Gundu, Bhaktapur, at a special gathering.

UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli also participated in the announcement meeting. Before the gathering, UML-affiliated leaders and activists had taken out a rally in Gundu and raised slogans.

The rally was led by Basnet. Chairman Oli's wife Radhika Shakya is also seen at the forefront of the rally.
