Nov 03, Kathmandu - President Ram Chandra Poudel left for Doha, Qatar, on Monday, leading a Nepali delegation to participate in the 'Second World Summit for Social Development' program.

President Poudel is scheduled to participate in the international program to be held in Doha until Kartik 20, according to the Office of the President.

The Office of the President has designated the work to be performed by the President in the absence of the President as per Article 67 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal, as per the responsibilities assigned to the Honorable Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, a press release made public today.

The Vice President will assume the responsibilities of the Acting President throughout the period of President Poudel's visit.
