Cabinet Decides to Declare 45 People Who Died in the Gen-Z Movement As Martyrs

Nov 03, Kathmandu - The government has decided to declare 45 people who died during the protests held on Bhadra 23 and 24 as martyrs.

The cabinet meeting held on Monday decided to declare 45 people who died in various parts of the country, including Kathmandu, as martyrs, government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel informed.

He said, "The state has decided to declare 45 people who died in various parts of the country, including Kathmandu, as martyrs, during the protests held by the Gen-Z movement on Bhadra 23 and 24, 2082, demanding good governance and control of corruption. Other additions are also being studied."

He also informed that it has been decided to appoint Associate Attorney Ghanshyam Ojha as a member of the Foreign Employment Tribunal.
