Nov 06, Kathmandu - Police have arrested a young man with various weapons from a camp located at Loktantrik Chowk, Tarkeshwor Municipality-11, Manamaiju. The arrested person has been identified as 23-year-old Shivaraj Dhamala, a resident of Tikapur Municipality-1, Kailali and currently residing in Manamaiju.

A police team deployed on the basis of a special tip-off said that while searching Dhamala's room, they recovered one INSAS rifle, one shotgun, one large Chinese pistol, 205 blank rounds of SLR rifle, 16 magazines of INSAS rifle and 2 magazines of large Chinese pistol.

The police said that they have started the necessary investigation against the arrested Dhamala.
