Nov 07, Kathmandu - The Supreme Court has refused to issue an interim order against Hitendra Dev Shakya, who was removed from the position of Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority.
After a discussion between the two parties on the writ petition he claimed, a bench of Justices Abdul Aziz Musalman and Nripadhwaj Niraula refused to issue an interim order.
They have ordered to schedule a hearing on 9 Mangsir, prioritising the case.
The Supreme Court has refused to issue an interim order in this case as well, saying that there was no interim order in similar petitions before, but rather an order to hear the case expeditiously.
The Supreme Court, citing details of similar disputed cases, said in the order, "Since it is appropriate and necessary to decide all those cases and the present case together, there is no need to issue an interim order as demanded at this time."
