Extended Meeting of RSP Continues in Chitwan

Nov 08, Kathmandu - An extended meeting of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is underway in Sauraha, Chitwan. The meeting, which began on Friday, is continuing on Saturday as well. The party has stated that the meeting is discussing preparations for the upcoming elections, strengthening the party organization, and political strategy.

Addressing the meeting, RSP Vice President Dr. Swarnim Wagle said that the party is creating a new history. He said, "We are a new party, we are creating history. After another 70 years, when journalists and researchers write the history of the RSP, they will also mention this extended meeting that began in Chitwan."

He also said that the country itself is in a transitional phase. He said that the party is also facing some internal and external challenges, but they are in a position to raise the message of justice and unity.

Responding to media persons at the meeting premises, leader Hari Dhakal said that his party is not alternative but mainstream. Leader Shishir Khanal stated that he supported the issues raised during the Gen-Z movement and said that they were participating in the peaceful movement.

The extended meeting of the RSP is being attended by party officials at various levels, including central committee members, provincial coordinators, and district coordinators.
