Nov 08, Kathmandu - Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has said that criminal elements entered the country during the Gen-Z movement and caused damage. He also said that the state has addressed it.
Speaking at the Economic Debate 2.0 program organized by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry on Saturday, he informed that 380 people have been arrested and 150 have been charged with various cases, saying that the rule of law has been restored. Minister Aryal claimed that the government will provide security to industrialists and businessmen in a more constructive manner than before.
He said, "There was infiltration during the Gen-Z movement. Criminal elements entered there and caused damage. But the state has addressed it. 380 people have been arrested. 150 people have been charged with various cases. Therefore, the rule of law has been restored. The government is committed to this. The government will provide security to industrialists and businessmen in a more constructive manner than before."
Similarly, he urged people to look at the issue of good governance differently, saying that there is no longer a need to please any leader or minister.
