Nov 09, Kathmandu - The K-Food program was organized with the active participation of students who had gained work experience in Korea and returned to Nepal after studying on scholarships from the Korean government.
The event, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Nepal, provided an opportunity for participants to share memories of Korea through Korean food.
On the occasion, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nepal Taeyoung Park said that the meaningful opportunity for workers and alumni who have returned from Korea to share Korean food and unforgettable moments of Korea with their families and friends would help expand the relationship between the two countries at the people-to-people level. He said that if the knowledge and skills learned in Korea can be utilized in Nepal, it will not only help the individuals concerned but also the country as a whole.
The Korean government has been continuously supporting a sustainable startup ecosystem for Nepal's youth in line with its goal of creating jobs in Nepal and strengthening the Nepalese economy. The 'K-Food' program was taken as part of the K-Food Entrepreneurship Training organized in Kathmandu last August.
