My inaugural address will be delivered at this year's general convention, that's all: Oli

Nov 09, Kathmandu - CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that this year's general convention will end without any discussion after his directive speech.

'This time, I will address the general convention unilaterally. My inaugural speech will come, that's it. There will be no discussion on that either,' Oli said at an interaction program for scholars organized by the UML's Central Education and Human Resources Department on Friday. He said that there will be no discussion on it after his directive speech.

'If we do, the general convention will last for five (seven) days. We cannot afford that,' he said. Stating that it is not necessary to hold the general convention for such a long time in the current situation, Oli said, 'Now we have to restore the dissolved House of Representatives.

After that, we will work on policy formulation and implementation with Subista. The main task now is to restore the dissolved House of Representatives. This is the crux of national politics. This is where the achievement needs to be achieved. This is the point where the effort needs to be made. We are now emphasizing on this.'
