Nov 09, Kathmandu - With 7 days left to register names for the upcoming House of Representatives elections on Falgun 21, the District Election Office in Kathmandu has witnessed enthusiastic participation from the general public.
Although there has been a huge crowd due to server problems for some time, participants have reported that registering names does not take much time and is not a hassle.
Service recipient Ankit Baral said he was happy to register his name in the voter list for the first time. He said that since he is also a Gen-Z member, the next leadership should be young and he is also ready to vote.
He informed that although there was a problem with the office server, he did not have to wait in line for a long time.
The office's information officer, Shrijana Rayamajhi, informed that some problems were being experienced due to the increased pressure on the server, as the voter registration process is being carried out in all 77 districts.
