Nov 09, Kathmandu - The trailer for the upcoming Nepali film 'Mugulan' has been unveiled. Rehan Productions released the teaser on their YouTube channel on Sunday.
The teaser depicts the story of a young family facing financial hardships who travel to India for work to sustain their happiness. It highlights the struggles they endure and the oppression faced by the protagonist's family.
'Muglan' portrays the journey of a family striving to achieve their dreams and find happiness amidst adversity. The film is expected to shed light on themes of migration for labour, rural love, and perseverance.
Written and directed by Ashish Dhakal, the film is set to hit theatres on Poush 10.
The lead roles are played by Prabhat Pal and Smarika Dhakal, alongside a cast including Shivanshi, Dinesh DC, Moti Subedi, Ram Chandra Adhikari, K.B.P., Raju Raju Soni, Rashi Bhatta, Jeevan Gautam, and Sabin Bastola.
Produced by Goman Singh with co-producer Rita Chaudhary, the film features cinematography by Ajay Regmi, editing by Tara Thapa ‘Kimbhe’, fight choreography by Jay Bist and Ram Guru, and BGMs by Riddam Kandel.
The distribution rights for 'Muglan' are held by R R Films.
