Dr. Govinda KC Submits 10-Point Memorandum to Prime Minister Karki

Nov 09, Kathmandu - Medical education reform activist Dr. Govinda KC has demanded that the government reverse decisions made in the past due to the manipulation of vested interests.

Dr. KC met Prime Minister Sushila Karki at Singha Durbar today and demanded that the decisions be reversed, claiming that medical college seats were increased in the past in the interests of businessmen.

Dr. KC, along with former Vice-Chairman of the Medical Education Commission Shri Krishna Giri, Prof. Dr. Jagdish Prasad Agrawal were also in the team. Dr. KC has also submitted his 10-point memorandum.

Prime Minister Karki, Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, Education Minister Mahabir Pun, Health Minister Dr. Sudha Gautam and Vice-Chairman of the Medical Education Commission Dr. Anjani Jha also attended the discussion on the issues raised by Dr. KC.
