Nov 10, Kathmandu - Health Minister Dr. Sudha Sharma Gautam has said that the free medicines provided through health insurance are of good quality.
She urged people to be cautious as some private medicine practitioners may be spreading misleading information. Minister Gautam pledged to gradually improve the problems in the insurance program.
She said that complaints about non-payment under the insurance program had come from some hospitals and said that they would resolve them soon. She urged people to focus on providing services smoothly by maintaining good governance.
Minister Gautam said that there were complaints about the lack of medicines in health centers and said that the local level should create a situation where free medicines can be available and the center would support in this. Various people were honored and awarded at the program.
