5.8 Million of Income From Ticket Sales

Nov 11, Kathmandu - The Jhapa Women's Gold Cup held at the Dudhe Stadium in Shivasatakshi here has generated an income of Rs 5.8 million and three thousand from ticket sales.

According to organizing committee chairman Santosh Thopra, tickets worth Rs 3.02 million and Rs 4.40 million were sold in the final match alone. The organizers have stated that the first semi-final alone generated revenue of Rs 550,700 and the last semi-final match generated revenue of Rs 1.15 million and Rs 5.5 million, respectively.

Chairman Thopra said that the number of spectators has increased significantly due to the recent increase in interest in women's football.
