Nov 13, Kathmandu - Turkey has denied Indian media reports claiming that the recent 'terrorist attack' in Delhi was linked to Turkey.
The Turkish ‘Directorate of Communication Center for Countering Disinformation’ has denied the reports.
The denial comes in the context of some Indian media outlets reporting that Turkey is involved in the terrorist incident in India and that it is providing logistical, diplomatic and financial support to terrorist groups.
It is said that this is part of a deliberate propaganda campaign aimed at damaging bilateral relations between the two countries.
It is also said that Turkey has completely rejected any form of 'terrorism'. It is also said that it is at the forefront of the fight against terrorism with the support of the international community.
Turkey has also said that the claims regarding the explosion in the Delhi Metro are completely false and fabricated. At least 8 people have been killed in a car explosion in Delhi on Monday. The Indian government has called it a 'terrorist attack'.
