Nov 14, Kathmandu - The central members of the Nepali Congress's establishment wing have registered a 7-point appeal to start the process of the general convention.

They registered the appeal at the party office in Sanepa on Friday. They are demanding that a deadline be set for renewing active membership and finalizing new active membership.

They have mentioned that in order to make the upcoming election on Falgun 21, 2082 BS result-oriented, the 15th General Convention should be started within the month of Mangsir, 2082 BS as per the party's statute and a work schedule should be made and implemented to conclude the convention at each level.

Similarly, the attention letter also mentions that meaningful participation of youth, women, Dalits, tribals, Tharus, Madhesis, Muslims, backward regions and classes, and people with disabilities should be ensured in the party structure at all levels in the 15th General Convention.
