Nov 14, Kathmandu - Children of Janagyan Secondary School in Shivapuri Rural Municipality-8 here underwent free heart check-ups today.
427 children underwent heart check-ups in a program organized by Pulmonary Hypertension Association Nepal, informed Samjhana Khanal Gadtaula, chairperson of the organization.
Doctors from Kathmandu Medical College, Birendra Sainik and Kanti Children's Hospital provided tests and consultations at the camp.
Inaugurating the camp, rural municipality chairperson Gobinda Thapaliya said that efforts are being made to provide regular health check-ups to children in the villages and spread health awareness among parents.
