Free Ayurveda Camp in Ramechhap Village

Nov 16, Kathmandu - Ayurveda and Alternative Hospital Ramechhap has launched a free health service campaign in every village.

The hospital, which is operating in the district headquarters Manthali, has started running free health treatment camps in villages in collaboration with the local levels.

A one-day free Ayurvedic health camp was held at Sunapati Rural Municipality-Center Hiledevi on Saturday. At the camp, Ayurvedic doctor Dr. Achyut Rimal's team examined patients, consulted and distributed free medicines.

According to Deepak Karki, the head of the hospital, patients with diseases such as gastritis, arthritis-related bone and joint pain, body aches, tingling, and chronic cough were more frequent. According to him, about 200 patients received direct services from the camp held at the rural municipality hospital.

Sunapati Rural Municipality Chairperson Thulokanchha Tamang said the camp had been effective and urged for the continuation of such programs. He said that non-communicable diseases have become a major health challenge in recent times.

Ayurveda and Alternative Hospital Ramechhap Chairman Nawaraj Pathik said that the campaign was launched with the aim of providing Ayurvedic health services to every village. 'Recently, the interest of citizens towards Ayurvedic treatment has been increasing, but many rural residents are still deprived of the service. We have started this campaign keeping this situation in mind,' he said.

Chairman Pathik informed that preparations are underway to conduct a free health treatment camp in Umakunda Rural Municipality in the first week of Mangsir. According to him, earlier, a free health treatment camp was conducted targeting devotees who had come to visit the Khanda Devi Temple, the main Shakti Peeth of the district.
