Nov 17, Kathmandu - Prime Minister Sushila Karki is set to inaugurate the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
The inaugural match of the NPL is scheduled to take place at 4 pm. The defending champions Janakpur Bolts and Kathmandu Gorkhas are facing off in the opening match.
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has already sold 9,400 tickets for the NPL.
More than 2,000 security personnel have been deployed at the Tribhuvan University Ground for security during the NPL.
CAN spokesperson Chhumbi Lama informed that 1,900 Nepal Police, 250 Armed Police Force and the remaining 300 private security personnel have been deployed.
Spectators continue to flock to the Tribhuvan University Ground to watch the inaugural match of the NPL.
