Priyank's Excellent Batting Helps Karnali Set a Target of 167 Runs for Chitwan

Nov 18, Kathmandu - In Tuesday's match under the Nepal Premier League, Karnali Yaks opener Priyank Panchal batted as Chitwan Rhinos were given a moderate target of 167 runs.

Karnali, who were invited to bat first after losing the toss at the Kirtipur ground, scored 166 runs for the loss of three wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Opener Priyank was dominant against the Chitwan bowlers. He scored 90 runs in 48 balls with the help of 7 fours and 6 sixes. When the game reached 4 balls in 15 overs, he was caught out by Chitwan's Ravi Bhopara.

Karnali's opening duo Priyank and Max O'Dowd had a partnership of 61 runs. Max was out for the first wicket. After scoring 20 runs in 30 balls, he was dismissed by Chitwan's Saif Zaib in the fifth ball of the ninth over.
