Nov 18, Kathmandu - The police have received permission to detain medical practitioner Durga Prasai for 4 days. The District Administration Office, Kathmandu, has granted Prasai a 4-day remand for investigation, according to the District Police Range, Kathmandu.

The police arrested Prasai from his residence last night. Prasai had been making statements saying that he would hold a protest since the second week of Mangsir and that he was preparing for it.

He is accused of disturbing peace and security.
