Two Men Arrested for Fraudulent Practice of Promising UK Work Visa Assistance and Swindling Crores

Nov 18, Kathmandu - Police have arrested two people on charges of defrauding people of money by promising to send them to the UK on a working visa. The arrested have been identified as Adarsh ​​Timalsina, 22, of Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-7, Sindhupalchowk, and Ashish Khokhali, 34, of Indrawati Rural Municipality-4, Sindhupalchowk.

Among the arrested, Adarsh ​​took Rs 3.5 million from one victim and Ashish took Rs 1.1 million from another victim, claiming that he would send them to the UK, and the police deployed from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office arrested Adarsh ​​on Sunday and Ashish on Monday from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-12, based on the victim's complaint. They have been sent to the District Police Complex, Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action.
