Nov 21, Kathmandu - The National Volunteer Force, affiliated with the CPN-UML, held a demonstration of strength in Kathmandu on Friday afternoon.

The force, which started its rally from Samakhushi and Jawalakhel, marched through Babarmahal, Maitighar and reached New Baneshwor before concluding its demonstration.

The central command of the force is scheduled to be announced at the Karki Banquet in Maitighar, Kathmandu today.

The program is scheduled to be inaugurated by party chairman KP Sharma Oli. Security arrangements have been tightened at various places in Kathmandu in view of the program.
