Nov 21, Kathmandu - CPN-UML leader Mahesh Basnet has said that Prime Minister Sushila Karki can no longer run the country. Basnet said this while addressing the UML's Youth Volunteer Force declaration meeting on Friday.

"By dissolving the parliament, attacking our democratic system, and becoming the Chief Justice, you are walking around trampling on the feet of a 73-year-old woman," Basnet said, "Now the country will not be run by that mother. Now the parliament must be restored."

Basnet said that the National Volunteer Force will work to bring democracy, the rule of law and good governance back on track.
