15 Killed in Explosion at Chemical Factory in Pakistan

Nov 21, Kathmandu - A major accident has occurred at a chemical factory in Faisalabad city in Pakistan's Punjab province.

At least 15 people were killed when a gas explosion occurred at a chemical factory in the Malikpur area of ​​the city on November 21. The explosion occurred in the early hours of the morning. The explosion reportedly caused a fire and collapsed the factory. The explosion also damaged some nearby houses.

Most of the dead were factory workers. Initially, the death toll was reported to be between 4 and 10. But this has now increased to 15.

The death toll is expected to rise as several workers are seriously injured. It is said that 10 of the injured have been taken to hospital for treatment and 3 of them have been discharged after receiving first aid.
