Nov 21, Kathmandu - Sudurpaschim Royals opener Josh Brown has scored a half-century against Pokhara Avengers in a match under the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
Brown scored 51 runs in 29 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 5 fours.
Sudurpaschim was invited to bat first after losing the toss at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Stadium.
With this, Brown became the eighth half-century scorer in the ongoing season.
The only player to score a double half-century in the season is Chitwan's Ravi Bopara. He hit a half-century in the second match of the season against Karnali Yaks. In that match, he scored 52 runs.
Bopara hit his second personal half-century of the season in the fifth match against Lumbini Lions. In that match, he scored 66 runs off 55 balls.
The third and seventh half-century of the season is secured in the name of Chitwan's Ravi Bopara.
The first half-century to hit this season is Janakpur Bolts' Asif Sheikh. He hit a half-century in the opening match against Kathmandu Gurkhas.
