Lumbini Lions, who were invited to bat after losing the toss at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur, scored 36 runs for the loss of 1 wicket in the first powerplay.

Lumbini lost its first wicket in 1.3 overs. Will Bosisto caught off Nandan Yadav. Sandeep Jora returned to the pavilion with 1 run.
