Nov 23, Kathmandu - The 12th International Physiotherapy Conference 2025 organized by the Nepal Physiotherapy Association (NEPTA) has concluded.
The conference, which was held for two days from November 21 and 22 in Kathmandu, is the largest international physiotherapy event organized in Nepal, according to the organizers.
More than 450 physiotherapists, rehabilitation professionals, doctors and health workers participated in the conference.
Association President Samid Katila Shrestha said that the main objective of the conference is to coordinate and collaborate among various health stakeholders in the prevention, control, public awareness and rehabilitation of non-communicable diseases.
She informed that workshops, group discussions and scientific presentations were held at the conference on non-communicable diseases including stroke and neurological problems, back pain/orthopedic problems, heart diseases, rehabilitation of cancer patients.
Along with representatives from Nepal, the conference had international participation from seven different countries.
