According to sources related to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Adarsh, who has taken the privilege of being a secretary to the Government of Nepal, has made his wife Sangeeta Shrestha his personal joint secretary, equivalent to a joint secretary. According to sources, his relative Kamala Shrestha has also been appointed as personal joint secretary. Both Sangeeta and Kamala were appointed on the same day, i.e. on Ashwin 2. Their appointments were made within a week of Sushila Karki's appointment as Prime Minister.
