Nov 24, Kathmandu - Veteran actor Dharmendra has passed away at the age of 89.
He was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in early November and was later discharged. At that time, his family had informed that he was recovering well.
However, on Monday afternoon, an ambulance was seen leaving Dharmendra's house. After that, celebrities reached the funeral home in Juhu's Bhil Parle. Although the family has not yet officially confirmed it, director Karan Johar has posted about Dharmendra's death.
Dharmendra spent more than six decades in Bollywood. He has left behind a priceless legacy by acting in more than 300 films.
The cause of death has not been revealed yet, but Dharmendra had been ill for a long time. He was admitted to the hospital on November 1. His last film will be Sriram Raghavan's 'Ikkis', which also stars Amitabh Bachchan's grandsons Agastya Nanda and Jaideep Ahlawat. The film is scheduled to release on December 25, 2025.
