Both The Openers of Kathmandu Fell Prey to Lumbini Lions, Losing 3 Wickets

Nov 25, Kathmandu -  Kathmandu Gorkhas, who batted first against Lumbini Lions in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) Season 2 match on Tuesday, lost three wickets.

Kathmandu, who batted first after losing the toss at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur, lost opener Aakash Tripathi as the third wicket in the fourth ball of 10 overs.

Aakash scored 32 runs in 36 balls. He hit four boundaries. Aakash was caught by D'Arcy short off the ball of Sher Malla of Lumbini.

Another opener, Ben Charlesworth, was bowled by Sher Malla. B

Ben was dismissed on the first ball of the second over without opening the account as the first wicket.

Batsman Rashid Khan was dismissed as the second wicket in the third ball of four overs. Rashid, who scored 14 runs in 10 balls with the help of 2 boundaries, was dismissed by Chitwan's Ruben Trumpelman.
