Nov 27, Kathmandu - The second match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) season 2 will be played between Janakpur Bolts and Pokhara Avengers.

Pokhara has won the toss and decided to bat first. This is the first time that the team that won the toss has chosen to bat in the 14th match of the ongoing NPL.

Previously, the team that won the toss had chosen to field first in all matches. Defending champions Janakpur will bowl first.

Pokhara has changed 1 player from the previous match. Pokhara has included Tritaraj Das in the team. Janakpur, on the other hand, has changed 3 players in the playing 11. Shubh Kansakar, Maj Sadakat and Wayne Parnell have been given a chance for the first time.

One of the two bottom teams, Pokhara and Janakpur, will open the points account today. This is the third match for both teams. Both teams had lost both their previous matches.

Janakpur lost to Kathmandu Gorkhas by 5 wickets in the first match and to Biratnagar Kings by 9 runs in the second match. Pokhara lost to Biratnagar by 53 runs and to Sudurpaschim Royals by 18 runs.

Pokhara will wear green jerseys in today's match. It will have 'Glaciers Matter' written on it. Janakpur players will wear jerseys with their mothers' names on them.

Pokhara will donate the money collected by auctioning the jerseys of both teams today to organizations working on climate change. It is said that Janakpur will support mothers who lost their children in the Genji movement.
