Pokhara Lost Three Wickets for Two Runs Against Janakpur, captain Bhurtel gets 'Golden Duck'

Nov 27, Kathmandu - Pokhara Avengers captain Kushal Bhurtel has become a golden duck against defending champions Janakpur Bolts in the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

Pokhara, who came into bat after winning the toss at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Thursday, lost Bhurtel in the fourth ball of the ninth over. After Adam Rossington was dismissed in the third ball of the same over, Bhurtel came to the crease to bat. However, Janakpur's Sanjay Krishnamurthy bowled out Bhurtel immediately in the fourth ball.

Pokhara has scored 64 runs for the loss of three wickets after the end of 10 overs of the ongoing match. Rossington and Dinesh Kharel had put on a partnership of 61 runs for the first wicket in 8.2 overs. However, Pokhara lost three batters after adding two runs.

Pokhara's openers Dinesh and Rossington added 38 and 24 runs respectively. Kushal Bhurtel returned to the pavilion on a duck.

Janakpur's Sanjay took two wickets and captain Anil Shah took one wicket.
