Nov 27, Kathmandu - President Ram Chandra Poudel has approved the mobilization of the Nepal Army for the security of the upcoming elections. Presidential Spokesperson Pradeep Kumar Koirala issued a statement on Thursday, informing that the approval has been given for the mobilization of the army for the security of the upcoming House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21.

On Mangsir 8, a meeting of the Council of Ministers had decided to request President Poudel to mobilize the army for the security of the elections.
