Nov 28, Kathmandu - The price of gold in the local market has crossed Rs 250,000. However, earlier, the price of gold had hit a record high of Rs 258,000 per tola.
On Friday, the price of gold increased by Rs 2,400 per tola to Rs 250,600.
Similarly, the price of silver also increased by Rs 65 per tola to Rs 3,345 today, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers. The previous day, silver was traded at Rs 3,280 per tola.
