Nov 28, Kathmandu - Structures built by encroaching on public land have been demolished in Devinagar, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-10. The structures built by encroaching on public land at the Bhadrakumari Sports Park site in Devinagar were demolished by the Metropolitan City on Friday (Mangsir 12).

The foundation stone for the Bhadrakumari Ghale Sports Park was laid a few days ago on public land in Devinagar (Dhobikhola Corridor). The structures have been removed to clear the space for the park, informed Manoj Prasad Lamichhane, SP of the Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Force.

The metropolitan city has stated that the area of ​​the land where the park is to be built is about 5 ropani, ten anna, two paisa, or two thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight square meters. The metropolitan city has stated that an open exercise area, badminton court, and futsal field will also be constructed in the park.
