Sitaula and Nidhi Left the Pro-establishment Gathering After Being Called by Deuba

Nov 28, Kathmandu - Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba continued his discussions with party leaders on Friday. Deuba has also called Bimalendra Nidhi and Krishna Prasad Sitaula, who are adamant that the general convention should not be held before the House of Representatives elections under any circumstances, for discussions today as well.

Leaders Nidhi and Sitaula were also called when they were about to discuss the general convention with acting president Purna Bahadur Khadka and general secretaries Gagan Kumar and Bishwa Prakash Sharma. A central member informed that Nidhi and Sitaula left the gathering of establishment leaders at Anandabhuvi Events in New Baneshwor after being summoned by president Deuba.

President Deuba had also held a group discussion with former office bearers including Nidhi and Sitaula and some central members on Thursday. During the discussion, he expressed dissatisfaction over the mention of his name.
