Nov 28, Kathmandu - Captain Vijaya Lama has been barred from operating flights. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CANN), the regulatory body for the aviation sector, has instructed Lama not to fly any aircraft starting today.

The authority took this action after determining that Lama did not adhere to the prescribed flight operation standards. The ban was imposed following reports that Lama had taken photographs and videos during a flight.

The Civil Aviation Authority has also directed the Nepal Airlines Corporation's Operations Department not to allow Lama to fly until further notice is issued.

Captain Lama has been known to create and share videos and vlogs on social media while flying. Recently, he stopped sharing cockpit videos, but he continues to produce vlogs before takeoff and after landing.
