Talent Flourishes at Kalika Secondary School's Cultural and Art Competition

Nov 28, Kathmandu - A talent show competition was held at Kalika Secondary School in Apu Bhanjyang.

The winners of the competition, in which students presented their talents such as singing, poetry, and acting, were awarded by former students who passed SEE in 2075.

Sagar Khatri, Safala Sunar, and Manjita Gurung won first, second, and third place in the secondary level competition, and Barsha Sunar, Shivani Gurung, and Subasana Shrestha won first, second, and third place in the basic level competition. Similarly, Ashika Gurung, Ayush Sunari Magar, and Prateek Sunar won first, second, and third place in the basic level (grades 1-3).

Similarly, in the open painting competition held on the same occasion, Rabi Khatri and Sandhya Pariyar won first place in the secondary level, and Mausami Rajbahak, Karishma KC, Aitimaya Tamang, Om Tamang, Megna Rajbahak, and Alima Oli won first place in the basic level. Rakshak Shrestha of grade 8, Usha Ghale of grade 2, and Simiyun Tamang of child development won incentive prizes.

The judges of the competition were Shiva Prasad Poudel, in-charge of the basic level, Laxmi Giri, extracurricular activities coordinator, and Bhuwan Thapa, a former student. The winners were awarded prizes by Mohan Bahadur Thapa, chairman of the school management committee, DB Bishwakarma, chairman of the teacher-parents association, and Khim Bahadur Khatri and Krishna Kumar Shrestha, members of the school management committee.
