NPL: Pokhara sets Lumbini a target of 151 runs

Nov 29, Kathmandu - Pokhara Avengers have set a target of 151 runs for Lumbini Lions in the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket.

Pokhara, who were invited to bat first after losing the toss, scored 150 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Adam Rossington top-scored for Pokhara with a fifty of 81 runs while Jimmy Neesham scored 51.

Lumbini's Sher Malla and Tilak Bhandari took two wickets each and Gulbadin Naib took one wicket.

Pokhara, which has played three matches in the ongoing tournament, has won only one match, while Lumbini, which has played four matches, has also won only one match.

Pokhara and Lumbini, with two points each, are in sixth and seventh place respectively.
