Nov 29, Kathmandu - Nepal has qualified for the final of the ACC Men's U-19 Premier Cup by defeating Malaysia by 9 wickets in the semi-finals.
In the match played at the Ajman Stadium in the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, who had won the toss and elected to bat first, were bowled out for 51 runs in 17.2 overs by Nepal. In reply, Nepal achieved this target easily in 7.5 overs, losing one wicket.
With this victory, Nepal has got the opportunity to play in the U-19 Asia Cup to be held next month. Nepal has overcome the low score scored by Malaysia with minimal loss and has set a journey to the final.
