It is not my intention to belittle any religion or community: Prime Minister

Nov 30, Kathmandu - Prime Minister Sushila Karki has said that she has no intention to belittle any religion or community.

In response to criticism from various quarters regarding her remarks made during the launch of the 16-day campaign against gender-based violence on social media (Facebook), Prime Minister Karki said, "It is not my intention to belittle any religion or community, not at all."

Prime Minister Karki clarified that she has equal respect for all religions and has also requested all countrymen to support the campaign to maintain peace, harmony and tolerance in the current difficult situation.
