Nov 30, Kathmandu - In preparation for the upcoming House of Representatives elections scheduled for Falgun 21, a total of 114 political parties have registered with the Election Commission. These parties have completed their registration process to participate in the election.

Yajna Bhattarai, Deputy Secretary of the Election Commission’s Law and Political Parties Management Division, confirmed on Sunday evening that 114 parties have registered so far. He also mentioned that two more parties are currently in the process of registration.

The Election Commission had previously extended the registration deadline by four days. After thorough investigation of the registered parties, the Commission plans to publish the final list on Mangsir 20.
